Melanie Stimmell Van Latum is an amazing source of Street Painting knowledge and artistry for Event Consultation, Artwork, Marketing, and Supplies. Melanie is the Co-Founder of two prominent organizations in the chalk painting world, Street Painting Society and the Street Painting Academy, giving her a wealth of resources and relations with some of the best street painters in the world. She can provide 11 years of experience with Street Painting clients and events around the world. Internationally, she has consulted, painted, and held workshops for clients in Turkey, Holland, France, and Canada. In the U.S., Melanie has clients in Texas, Denver, Chicago, and through out California. If you have an idea, Melanie can make it a reality. Traditional Madonnari style, Trompe L'oeil, and 3D anamorphic styles are all available and we taylor each painting and event package to meet your needs.

*Melanie has built a 4 year relationship with Expressions in Chalk of London, Canada. With them at their inception, Melanie has consulted with festival directors, lead chalk workshops for artists, and created original street paintings. This year, she will coordinate & lead a group of artists in reproducing the central ceiling of the Sistine Chapel on the streets of London, Canada for their 3rd annual Expressions in Chalk Street Painting Festival. The 18 x 92 foot painting will include the most dramatic and recognizable images, from the Creation of Adam, to the Fall of Man. The Sistine Chapel team will include two accomplished street painters from California and six well known London artists. Melanie has created a beautiful Fine Art reproduction of The Prophet Zechariahs, which will be auctioned off during the 3 day event. Watch the video!
Events and Festivals
For services for events outside of Los Angeles County, it is customary for the host venue to prepare and cover all travel expenses, accommodations, and fees. Travel dates are dependent on the particular event but normally require a day of travel one full day prior to event and one day following. Melanie strives to give you the most awe inspiring imagery & experience while meeting your budgetary needs. Imagery is chosen by the artist, based on your consultation, to fit your event theme and mood. Original design of Artwork and/or 3D anamorphic designs are available and may require an additional fee for sketch and prep time depending on complexity. Rates are available upon request and are dependent on several factors including your event budget. Please contact us to discuss.

Working with you to design an original concept for your company or event, Melanie will deliver an unbelievable opportunity for your audience or customers to witness a masterpiece in the making and give them an experience they will never forget. Whether you choose a traditional street painting on asphalt or a piece created on canvas for maximum versatility, her timeless figures will come alive and bewitch the crowd. If you are interested in something more permanent, a canvas street painting is a wonderful option. Melanie's canvas works are fixed to the ground or floor during their creation and give you a permanent fine art piece for your corporate or private collection. Display your street painting at the entrance of your next occasion, on the wall in your lobby, or even mounted on the ceiling of your office.
